I received an email about an interview - how do I pick a time and date?

Updated 5 months ago by Derek Williamson

Congratulations - the employer would like to meet with you! No need have to reply to this email. Instead, HigherMe has a built-in scheduling tool which allows you to schedule an interview without having to go back and forth with emails or phone calls to set things up. To view and set up an interview time, you can either:

  • Select the link contained in the email you received. Look for where it says "Please click HERE to schedule your interview" and follow that link.
  • From the text message notification, follow the link contained in the message.
  • Sign In to your HigherMe account from your phone or computer. Select My Applications, and click on the application that should now be marked as 'Contacted'.

If the interview scheduling page does not show you any time slots, you will need to reach out to the hiring manager directly by email to set up a time to meet. From your interview scheduling page, you should be able to see the employer's email address either in brackets next to their name, or when you click their name at the bottom of the page.

After selecting an interview time, you will also receive a reminder email from HigherMe on the day before the interview asking you to confirm that you are still able to attend. Remember to confirm your interview so the employer knows you'll be there!

Good luck!

How did we do?
